The NCAA Division I tournament is upon us, and that means bracket season. This also means the return of the Bracket Busters promo in NBA 2K. The NBA 2K23 Bracket Busters promo started on March 13, a three-week event that will offer special Takeover rewards and a mystery player. So, what do you need to do to get all the rewards? Let’s take a look at what the Bracket Busters event entails.

Bracket Busters Log-In Cards
We need to start with log-in cards for this activity. On March 13, 2K began releasing special Bracket Buster daily log-in tokens that can be earned just by logging into MyTeam each day.
Now, here is the gist of these token cards. There are 15 Bracket Buster daily log-in tokens, per NBA 2K23 Collection. Since this is a three-week event, you can expect to need to log into MyTeam every weekday between March 13-31 to get all the tokens.
Bracket Busters Takeovers
Then, there are Takeovers. Takeover cards are back in NBA 2K23, but with a twist.
Throughout the event, NBA 2K23 will see the release of new Bracket Busters-themed Takeovers. These cards can be obtained by completing Agendas.
Note, however, that at least some of the Capture cards may be chosen by players through Agendas. Here’s a look at Takeovers in 2K23:
- 94 OVR Willie Cauley-Stein vs. 94 OVR Frank Kaminsky – Get 4 blocks in one game (reward is Player Option Pack with two cards)
- 94 OVR Jared Sullinger vs. 94 OVR Brandon Knight – Score 21 points as a player in a Triple Threat or Triple Threat Online game (reward is a Player Option Pack with two cards)
- 94 OVR Salim Stoudamire vs. 94 OVR Luther Head – Make five 3-pointers with Shooting Guard in one game (reward is a Player Option Pack with two cards)
These Takeover cards will be available until April 7.
New cards will be added to the Bracket Buster event until March 31. Those who collect all the log-in tokens and complete the mural will receive 98 OVR Glen Rice. This article will be updated as we get more information.
