Warhammer 40K: Darktide is the next entry in the cooperative hack-and-slash Vermintide games. Darktide was the start of its franchise, and Vermintide’s high fantasy takes on the future. Darktide is designed to be played by four player squads, and it has several betas leading up to its release. One of the most common questions among players is whether the development will carry over to live gameplay, and Fatshark is vague about the answer. How to bring Warhammer 40k: Darktide beta development to the full game
Darktide has both early alpha and beta tests. The pre-order beta runs from November 17th until the game’s launch on November 30th, and when it first launched, Fatshark said they would try to let players continue their progress but stopped shy of confirming this. After the first major content update for the pre-order beta, Fatshark sent a message via Twitter to all pre-order beta players announcing that all the progress made in during the pre-order beta will be carried over to the full game on November 30.

Any Steam or Windows Store player who purchased Warhammer 40k: Darktide can start playing now and begin their career by leveling up, earning new weapons, and earning Twitch drops. Darktide is always an online game, and although the news of the beta development is good, other requested features, like cross-play, are not in the cards at the moment.
The full version of Darktide contains additional content not present in the pre-order beta, including new mission types, environments, and gameplay features.
